Tutorial

Each class is under a class tutor. She / he is in charge of all activities with respect the class and is responsible for smooth functioning of each class. On every Friday, an hour is allotted as Tutorial Hour. During this time, Class tutor meets the students of the class, informs them of the common programmes and discusses various aspects pertaining to academic, co curricular and extracurricular activities. Class tutor provides guidance to students gives directives and ensures that the activities of class run in a smooth and efficient manner. Class Tutor is also the adviser of the class who maintains close relationship with the students and parents. Any grievances of students are first informed to the class tutor. Class tutor works closely with other course faculty to do the best for the student community.

Mentoring

Each student in the campus is assigned mentor who supports and provides guidance for academic and personal issues. Around 18 – 25 students are allotted to a mentor. Mentoring aims at relationship focused on supporting the growth and development of the mentee. The mentor may be from same discipline on other disciplines. Mentor maintains a close contact with mentee and meets them at regular intervals. Mentee who need continuous help are met with increased frequency. Mentors strives to bring out the best in the mentee. Mentor refers the mentee for professional help as and when needed. Mentors also contacts the parents of the students if needed.
