Archaeology Club

Motto - "Know our Heritage"

Archaeology club was formed in the year 2000.The main objectives of this club are to create awareness among the students and the public about our cultural heritage. Archaeology club organizes site visits to develop interest in history and culture among the students. The club functions jointly with Dept. of History. Membership is limited to the students of History department.

One faculty member of Dept. of History is the Coordinator. Two student representatives are elected. The main activities of the Club are site visits to places of archeological and historical importance and collection of artifacts and preservation and maintenance of History Museum.
