The Department of Social Work organized a two-day workshop for psycho-social counselors in collaboration with Excise Vimukthi Mission, Kudumbasree Mission, and DREAM Project, Thrissur. The event aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of counselors in addressing psycho-social issues effectively. The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Athul Sagar IAS, Assistant Collector of Thrissur. The sessions included discussions on various topics by esteemed professionals such as Dr. Raheemudheen P K, Clinical Psychologist at the Government Mental Health Center, Thrissur; Mr. Satheesh PK, Vimukthi Manager and Assistant Excise Commissioner, Thrissur; and Dr. Sebind Kumar, Associate Professor at the Government Medical College, Thrissur. The event provided a valuable platform for counselors to advance their understanding and capabilities in psycho-social counseling.
